DIN EN ISO 3738-1:2010-08

The text of 3738-1:1982 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 119 "Powder metallurgy" of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been adopted as EN ISO 3738-1:2010. The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 145-01-04 AA "Probenahmen und Prüfverfahren für Sintermetalle (ausgenommen Hartmetalle)" ("Sampling and testing methods for sintered metal materials (excluding hardmetals)") of the Technology of Material Standards Committee (NWT). As a result of the European adoption of ISO 3738-1:1982 as EN ISO 3738-1 and the standstill agreement for adoption of European standards in the national body of standards, it is necessary to publish DIN EN ISO 3738-1 simultaneously with the withdrawal of DIN ISO 3738-:1991-07 (German version of ISO 3738-1:1982); although the contents of DIN EN ISO 3738-1 and DIN ISO 3738-1:1991 have not changed except for the editorial revisions and the correction of the nominal hardness value of the test block for the standard test block Nr. 3 from 91,5 HRA to 91 HRA in Table 2 in accordance with ISO 3738-1:1982.
