Overview
The International Standard (ISO 3821:2008) which has been prepared by ISO/TC 44 "Welding and allied processes" specifies requirements for rubber hoses (including twin hoses) for welding, cutting and allied processes. The term "allied processes" means, in particular, heating, brazing and metallization. This International Standard applies neither to thermoplastics hoses nor to hoses used for high pressure (higher than 0,15 MPa) acetylene. Within the framework of the Unique Acceptance Procedure, this International Standard has been adopted as DIN EN ISO 3821. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 092-00-07 AA "Ausrüstung zum Gasschweißen, Schneiden und verwandte Prozesse" ("Equipment for gas welding, cutting and allied processes") of NAS.
