Overview
The European standard is a new edition. It specifies criteria for the selection of single, combination and concentric water meters, associated fittings, installation, special requirements for meters, and the first operation of new or repaired meters to ensure accurate constant measurement and reliable reading of the meter. The responsible committees are CEN/TC 92 "Water meters" (secretariat SNV, Switzerland) and, at the national level, DIN-DVGW Joint Working committee NA 119-07-08 AA "Wassermessung" ("Water metering") at DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW).
