This document (EN ISO 445:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 51 "Pallets for unit load method of materials handling" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 261 "Packaging", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR. The responsible German committee is NA 115-03-07 AA "Paletten" ("Pallets") at the Packaging Standards Committee (NAVp). This International Standard defines terms relating to pallets for unit load methods of materials handling. Compared with the 3. edition (ISO 445:2008), this 4. edition has been slightly revised; modifications have been made in order to reflect the modifications in the current editions of ISO 8611, Parts 1 to 3 (2011).
This document replaces DIN EN ISO 445:2010-01 .
