DIN EN ISO 472:2013-06

This standard specifies terms and definitions of the plastics industry, including the terms and definitions published in the standards on plastics (of ISO/TC 61) and the general terms and definitions used in polymer science which are applied in all fields of plastics technology. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN EN ISO 472:2002-02: a) text has been completely revised; b) further terms and definitions have been added. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 61/SC 1 "Terminology" (secretariat: BSI, United Kingdom of Great Britain), in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 249 "Plastics", the secretariat of which is held by NBN, Belgium. In this edition, the terms and definitions are stored in the ISO online browser platform (http://www.iso.org/obp) and the DINterminologieportal (www.din-term.de) which is free of charge for the public (but cannot be downloaded). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 054-01-01 AA "Terminologie" ("Terminology") at the Plastics Standards Committee.
