This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of nickel in steel and iron by gravimetry or titrimetry. The method is applicable to nickel contents from 1 % to 30 % (mass fraction). The previous edition of this standard is DIN EN 24938. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 021-00-30 AA "Analysenverfahren" ("Methods of chemical analysis") at DIN.
