Overview
Connectors in accordance with Part 2 of the DIN EN ISO 5356 series are required for inhalation anaesthesia apparatus and ventilators when mounting heavy accessories. The dimensions of the following weight-bearing conical connectors: - 22 mm connectors - 22 mm/15 mm coaxial connectors With respect to DIN EN ISO 5356-2:2007, exclusively editorial modifications have been made. The standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 215 "Respiratory and anaesthetic equipment" (secretariat: BSI, United Kingdom), in collaboration with ISO/TC 121/SC 1 "Breathing attachments and anaesthetic machines" (secretariat: DIN, Germany). Working Committee NA 053-03-01 AA "Anästhesie und Beatmung" ("Anaesthesia and respiration") of NARK is responsible at DIN.
