This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 158 "Analysis of gases" (secretariat: NEN, Netherlands). The responsible national committee is Working Committee NA 062-05-73 AA "Gasanalyse und Gasbeschaffenheit" ("Gas analysis and gas quality") at the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) at DIN. This document specifies minimum requirements for the contents of certificates for homogeneous gas mixtures in gas cylinders to be used as calibration gas mixtures. Pure gases, when used as calibration gas mixtures, are also covered by this International Standard. Gases and gas mixtures produced for other purposes are not considered.
