Overview

DIN EN ISO 6149-4 specifies the dimensions and performance requirements for external hex and internal hex port plugs. Port plugs in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6149-4 may be used at working pressures up to 63 MPa (630 bar). The permissible working pressure depends upon the plug end size, materials, design, working conditions, application, etcetera. This standard is based on ISO 6149-4:2006 and has been adopted without amendment by Technical Committee ECISS/TC 110 "Steel tubes, and iron and steel fittings" (secretariat: UNI, Italy). The responsible German body involved in its preparation is Working Committee NA 082-00-07 AA "Rohrverschraubungen" ("Compression couplings") of the DIN Standards Committee Piping and Boiler Plant (NARD).
