Overview
This European Standard specifies a method of determining the tensile properties of polyolefin pipes. The standard is directed at manufacturers and users of thermoplastic pipes as well as the corresponding test facilities. The standard contains in particular aspects of product safety. DIN EN ISO 6259-3 is the German version of the European Standard EN ISO 6259-3 which has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 155 "Plastics piping systems and ducting systems". The committee responsible for this standard is NA 054-05-02 AA "Prüfverfahren für Rohre" ("Test methods for pipes") at the Plastics Standards Committee (FNK) at DIN Standards Committee Plastics (FNK).
