This standard specifies a method of determining the reflectance of aluminium surfaces where the total and diffuse luminous reflectance is measured using integrating-sphere instruments. The method described is also applicable to the measurement of specular reflectance (principle gloss value), focused and diffuse reflectance. The method does not apply to lighting reflectors. In principle, the following will proceed: - Measurement of the total and diffuse reflected light at different angles of incidence with approximately 90° to the test surface, using an integrating-sphere reflectometer. This International/European Standard has been prepared under the leadership of ISO/TC 79/SC 2/WG 16 "Revisions for Systematic reviewed TC 79/SC 2 ISO standards" (secretariat: JISC, Japan) in a parallel procedure with CEN/TC 132/WG 15 "Aluminium anodisation" (secretariat: BSI, United Kingdom). The responsible German Working Committee is NA 066-01-09 AA "Anodisch oxidiertes Aluminium" ("Aluminium anodisation") of FNNE.
