Overview
This standard contains specifications about recessed countersunk flat head screws of product grade A, with threads M2 up to and including M10, and of property class 8.8 for steel, A2-70 for stainless steel and CU2 and CU3 for non-ferrous metals. In the new edition of this standard, the dates from the normative references have been eliminated in order to allow, beyond doubt, the application of each current version of a standard to which reference is made. Moreover, the specifications for the finish have been updated. This document (EN ISO 7046-2:2011) has been prepared by ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners", in collaboration with CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners" (secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German committee is NA 067-00-05 AA "Kleinschrauben und gewindeformende Schrauben" ("Miniature screws and thread forming screws") of the Fasteners Standards Committee (FMV).
