Overview
The modification of the standard has become necessary in order to bring the terminology used in ISO 7751 in line with the terminology of other ISO hose standards. The term "design working pressure" was still used in ISO 7751:1991. It has been replaced by the term "maximum working pressure". This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45/SC 1 "Hoses" of the International Organization for Standardization and has been adopted by Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies". The responsible national Standards Committee is NA 045-02-12 AA "Schläuche" ("Hoses") at the Rubber Technology Standards Committee (FAKAU).
