Overview
ISO 80000-11 gives the names, symbols and definitions for characteristic numbers used in the description of transport phenomena. The first edition of ISO 80000-11 replaces ISO 31-12:1992 and ISO 31-12:1992/Amd 1:1998. The text of ISO 80000-11:2008 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 12 "Quantities and units" (secretariat: SIS, Sweden) of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been adopted as EN ISO 80000-11:2013 by the CEN Technical Board (BT). The responsible German committee , is Working Committee NA 152-01-09-02 AK "Kenngrößen" ("Characteristic numbers") of the Fundamental Technical Standards Committee (NATG) at DIN.
