This standard specifies a test method for determining the adhesion strength of the cover to the core layer. It applies exclusively to steel cord conveyor belts. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 41 "Pulleys and belts (including veebelts)", SC 3 "Conveyor belts" of the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) and was adopted by Technical Committee CEN/TC 188 "Conveyor belts". The responsible national committee is NA 045-02-05 AA "Fördergurte"("Conveyor belts") at the Rubber Technology Standards Committee (NAFAKAU).
