Overview

This part of ISO 8130 specifies a method for the determination of particle size distribution by sieving. It discriminates between particles in the size range from 32 µm to 300 µm. The method can also be used as an abbreviated procedure, that means, for the determination of the residue on one single sieve only ("go"/"no go" test). The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 002-00-07 AA "Allgemeine Prüfverfahren für Beschichtungsstoffe und Beschichtungen" ("General test methods for coating materials and coatings") at DIN.
