DIN EN ISO 8674:2013-04

This International Standard specifies the characteristics of hexagon high nuts (style 2) with metric fine pitch thread, with nominal thread diameters, D, from 8 mm up to and including 36 mm. Product grade A is applicable for nominal thread diameter, D, up to and including 16 mm and product grade B is applicable for nominal thread diameter, D, above 16 mm. In this revised version the normative references are now undated in order to facilitate the unequivocal use of each currently applicable version of a standard. Moreover, the content of the standard has been brought in line with the revised ISO 898-2. This standard is identical to the European Standard EN ISO 8674:2012 in which the International Standard ISO 8674:2012 was adopted without any modifications. This standard has been prepared by ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners" in collaboration with CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners", both secretariats of which are held by DIN. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 067-00-03 AA "Verbindungselemente mit metrischem Innengewinde" ("Fasteners with metric internal thread") of the Fasteners Standards Committee (FMV) at DIN.
