This part of the series of standards specifies a method for determining the flexural creep of plastics in the form of standard test specimens under specified conditions such as those of pretreatment, temperature and humidity. The standard contains the amendment EN ISO 899-1:2003/A1:2015. This amendment extends and specifies the information given in A.2 "Creep at increased temperatures" of the informative Annex A "Physical ageing effects of creep tests on polymers". The committee responsible for this standard is NA 054-01-02 AA "Mechanische Eigenschaften und Probekörperherstellung" ("Mechanical properties and preparation of test specimens") at DIN.
