This document specifies a method for the determination of the efficacy of a soft soldering flux. The method is known as the solder spread method of filler metal and is applicable to all flux classes defined in ISO 9454-1. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 092-00-08 AA "Weichlöten (DVS AGV 6.2)" ("Soldering (DVS AGV 6.2)") at the Welding Standards Committee (NAS) at DIN.
