Overview
This document specifies a test method for determining damage that may be caused by flux residues after soft soldering or tin plating of specimens. Compared to the previous version from 2006, the applicability has been clarified in Clause 1, the test sample has been aligned with IPC B53 from IEC 61189-5-501, and the duration of the test has been changed in Subclause 9.5. Furthermore, this document has been editorially adapted to the new design rules and the figures have been updated. The responsible committee for this standard is Working Committee NA 092-00-08 AA "Weichlöten (DVS AG V 6.2)" ("Soldering (DVS AGV 6.2)") at DIN Standards Committee Welding and allied processes (NAS).
