The standard EN ISO 9455-5 specifies a qualitative method for assessing the aggressiveness of a flux towards copper. The test is applicable to all fluxes of type 1 as defined in ISO 9454-1. The committee responsible for this standard is Working Committee NA 092-00-08 AA "Weichlöten (DVS AG V 6.2)" ("Soldering (DVS AGV 6.2)") at the Welding Standards Committee (NAS) at DIN.
