DIN IEC 62976:2017-12

Various techniques are available for non-destructive testing. In many cases test arrangements that work with radiation are preferred. DIN IEC 62976 (VDE 0412-30) specifies the technical requirements and test procedures for industrial electron linear accelerators for non-destructive testing. It also contains the rules for designation, inspection, labeling, packaging, transport, accompanying documents and storage. It applies to NDT electron linear accelerator equipment in the X-ray energy range of 1 MeV to 15 MeV, including the accelerator equipment for radiographic film, computed radiography with imaging plates, real-time imaging, digital detector array and industrial computerized tomography.
