Overview
The DIN ISO 10110 series of standards specifies the presentation of design and functional requirements for optical elements and systems in technical drawings used for manufacturing and inspection. This part of DIN ISO 10110 specifies the permissible deviations and material imperfections when these are not explicitly indicated. In this edition several new parameters have been added and some numerical values have been updated to reflect common manufacturing practice. The committee responsible for preparation of DI ISO 10110-9 is DIN Standards Committee Optics and Precision Mechanics (NAFuO), Working Committee NA 027-01-02 AA "Grundnormen für die Optik" ("Fundamental standards for optics"), Working Group "Zeichnungen für die Optik" ("Technical drawings for optical elements and systems").
