DIN ISO 11093-7:2012-10

The German translation has been produced by NA 074-01-41 AA "Zylindrische Wickelkerne aus Papier und Pappe für Flächengebilde" ("Cylindrical cores of paper and board for reels"). The International Standard ISO 11093-7:2011 has been prepared in Technical Committee ISO/TC 6 "Paper, board and pulps" (secretariat: Standards Council of Canada/SCC). The standard ISO 11093-7:2011 is part of a series of ISO standards prepared in ISO/TC 6 for testing cores. The responsible Working Group ISO/TC 6/WG 7 "Cores for reels of paper", the secretariat of which is held by the Paper, Board and Pulps Standards Committee (NPa) at DIN, performed the preliminary technical work. The document specifies a method for the determination, by the three-point method, of the flexural modulus of cylindrical paper and board cores which meet the following criteria: - internal diameter: 50 mm to 350 mm; - minimum wall thickness: 0,05×internal diameter, but not less than 10,0 mm; - minimum length of core: 10×internal diameter, but not less than 1 000 mm.
