This standard specifies the dimensions and tolerances of guide pillar mountings for use in tools for pressing. The standard applies to guide pillar mountings for mounting with or without guide bushes. Along with dimensions of different size classes of guide pillar mountings, the DIN-ISO standard gives information about permissible materials as well as standard designations of the components. This standard contains the German version of the international standard which has been prepared by ISO/TC 29/SC 8 "Tools for pressing and moulding", Working Group 2 "Tools for pressing". The responsible German Mirror Committee is Working Committee NA 121-03-02 AA "Werkzeuge der Stanztechnik" ("Tools for pressing") at FWS.
