DIN ISO 13643-1:2015-10

The standards of the ISO 13643-1 to ISO 13643-6 series have been prepared on the basis of the standards of the DIN 81208-1 to DIN 81208-26 series. In order to avoid confusion and to work internationally on the same basis, the committee has decided to adopt the standards of the ISO 13643-1 to ISO 13643-6 series in the German body of standards and to replace the standards of the DIN 81208-1 to DIN 81208-26 series by them. This standard specifies the general definitions, symbols and test conditions and procedures which shall be used in addition to the test-related physical quantities specified in the standards DIN ISO 13643-2 to DIN ISO 13643-6 for the determination and for the description of the manoeuvring characteristics. In this standard the terms and definitions and symbols used in the ITTC Symbols and Terminology List are applied. Therefore, compliance with DIN 13312 is not possible. ISO 1151-1 was taken into account, where possible.
