This standard specifies the main dimensions and tolerances of guiding plates, U- and V-blocks, to be used in tools for pressing. In addition to various dimension classes of L-shaped guiding bars, this DIN ISO standard contains information on the choice of material and the designation of the components. This standard contains the German version of the International standard which has been prepared by ISO/TC 29/SC 8 "Tools for pressing and moulding" within Working Group 2 "Tools for pressing". The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 121-03-02 AA "Werkzeuge der Stanztechnik" ("Tools for pressing") of FWS.
