This document specifies a method for the determination of the apparent viscosity of both natural rubber latex concentrate and synthetic rubber latices by the Brookfield method. The method is also suitable for the determination of the viscosity of natural latices from sources other than Hevea brasiliensis and also for compounded latices. This document has the character of an engineering standard. DIN ISO 1652 is the German translation of ISO 1652:2011. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 062-04-35 AA "Rohmaterialien (einschließlich Latex) für die Kautschukindustrie" ("Raw materials (including latex) for use in the rubber industry") at DIN.
