Overview

This International Standard defines terms of the card with a web-forming method using staple fibres for non-woven machinery. With the publication of DIN ISO 18600, DIN 64118 will be withdrawn. The following changes have been made: a) an introductory element has been added to the title; b) the number of the standard has been changed; c) ISO 18600 has been adopted; d) language-independent symbols for the different widths given in Figure 1; e) Subclause 2.4 clarified; f) term numbers given directly in Figure 5. Working Committee NA 106-02-10 AA "Spulerei, Spinnereimaschinen und Nonwoven" ("Spinning and winding machinery and nonwoven") at DIN Standards Committee Textiles and Textile Machinery (Textilnorm) is responsible for this standard.
