Overview

This standard specifies the main dimensions and tolerances of sliding plates, to be used in press tools. The standard applies to one-face sliding plates (type A) and to two-face sliding plates (type B). In addition to the dimensions for various size classes for sliding plates, the DIN ISO standard provides information on the choice of material and on the standard designation of the components. This standard includes the German version of the International Standard prepared by Working Group 2 "Tools for pressing" at ISO/TC 29/SC 8 "Tools for pressing and moulding". The responsible German mirror committee is Working Committee NA 121-03-02 AA "Werkzeuge der Stanztechnik" ("Tools for pressing") of FWS.
