This document resulted from the adoption of ISO 3034:2011. The International Standard has been prepared in ISO/TC 6/SC 2 "Test methods and quality specifications for paper and board", the secretariat of which is held by SIS (Sweden). The translation of this International Standard has been produced by the Paper, Board and Pulps Standards Committee (NPa) at DIN e. V. The national mirror committee in this case is NA 074-02-03 AA "Physikalisch-technische Prüfverfahren für Papier und Pappe" ("Physical-technological test methods for paper and board"). The document specifies a method for determining the single sheet thickness of corrugated fibreboard intended for use in the manufacture of packing cases. It is applicable to all types of corrugated fibreboard.
