This standard gives specifications for solid and multi-layer bearing materials, such as are used for wrapped bushes in accordance with ISO 3547-1, ISO 3547-2, ISO 3547-3, ISO 3547-5, ISO 3547-6 and ISO 3547-7. The underlying standard ISO 3547-4 has been prepared by ISO/TC 123 "Plain bearings". The committee responsible for the German collaboration and this translation is Working Committee NA 118-02-03 AA "Maße, Toleranzen und Konstruktion" ("Dimensions, tolerances and construction details") at DIN Standards Committee Rolling Bearings and Plain Bearings (NAWGL).
