This standard specifies, following ISO 12301, the checking of the outside diameter of wrapped bushes (ISO 3547-2:2006, methods A, B and D) and describes the necessary checking methods and measuring equipment. The underlying standard ISO 3547-5 has been prepared by ISO/TC 123 "Plain bearings". The committee responsible for the German collaboration and this translation is Working Committee NA 118-02-05 AA "Qualitätssicherung" ("Quality assurance") at DIN Standards Committee Rolling Bearings and Plain Bearings (NAWGL).
