The International Standard ISO 3917:2016 "Road vehicles - Safety glazing materials - Test methods for resistance to radiation, high temperature, humidity, fire and simulated weathering" and has been adopted in this German standard without any modification. This International Standard specifies test methods for resistance to radiation, high temperature, humidity, fire and simulated weathering, relating to the safety requirements for all safety glazing materials in a road vehicle, whatever the type of glass or the material of which they are composed. The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 062-03-61 AA "Prüfung von Sicherheitsscheiben für Fahrzeugverglasung" ("Testing of safety glass constructions used in vehicle glazing") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
