Overview

This standard is an adoption of the International Standard ISO 525 edition 2013 and is applicable to all standardized bonded abrasive products (for example grinding wheels, segments, sticks and stones) in general, with the exception of diamond and boron nitride abrasives and coated abrasives. It specifies the following requirements: - the ISO shape number and shape; - symbols for dimensions; - standardized profiles; - requirements for dimensions, tolerances and limit deviations as well as permissible unbalances; - the specification mark; - the marking requirements.
