DIN ISO 603-16:2024-04

DIN ISO 603-16 specifies the most common nominal dimensions, in millimetres, of: - shape type 41: flat cutting-off wheel; - shape type 42: depressed centre cutting-off wheel. These bonded abrasive products are intended to be used for cutting‑off of any workpiece using hand-held power tools (e.g. angle grinders and straight grinders). In this application, the workpiece is fixed and the hand-held power tool is guided by the operator. This document is the German translation of ISO 603-14:2022 which has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 29/SC 5 "Grinding wheels and abrasives", the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). The responsible national committee is Working Committee NA 121-04-04 AA "Schleifkörper aus gebundenem Schleifmittel" ("Bonded abrasives") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
