Overview

The standard differs from ISO 6344-3:2000-04 as follows: a) new terms have been included in Clause 3; b) the test method in 4.3 has been completely updated; requirements for the use of a US sedimentation tube replace the reference to ISO 8486-2 in order to simplify the use of this part of ISO 6344; c) a bibliography has been added. The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 121-04-06 AA "Körnungen" ("Grain characteristics") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
