DIN ISO 724:2024-09

This document specifies the basic dimensions of ISO general purpose metric screw threads according to ISO 261. The values refer to the design profiles according to ISO 68-1. This document is applicable to the metric fastening screw threads. This document contains the English translation of the International Standard ISO 724:2023, which has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 1 "Screw threads", the secretariat of which is held by SAC (China). The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 152-02-01 AA "Gewinde" ("Screw threads") at DIN Standards Committee Technical Fundamentals (NATG), with the participation of Working Committee NA 067-00-01 AA "Referenznormen und Qualitätsmanagement" ("Reference standards and quality management") at DIN Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV).
