Overview

This standard specifies the methods for determining the ability of metallic wire of diameter or characteristic dimension from 0,1 mm up to 10 mm to undergo plastic deformation during simple torsion in one direction. The standard contains the German translation of International Standard ISO 7800:2012 which has been prepared by ISO/TC 164/SC 2 "Ductility testing". This translation has been prepared by Working Committee NA 099-00-01 AA "Stahldraht" ("Steel Wire") at NAD.
