Overview
This part of ISO 96 specifies the principal dimensions of T- and SF-flange rings, and the mass and tolerance on the mass, of the appropriate travelers for flange rings employed on ring spinning and ring twisting machines. It also specifies the method of designation of the travelers. The International Standard has been prepared by ISO/TC 72, Subcommittee SC 1 "Spinning preparatory, spinning, twisting and winding machinery and accessories". The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 106-02-10 AA "Spulerei- und Spinnereimaschinen" ("Spinning and winding machinery") of the Textile and Textile Machinery Standards Committee (Textilnorm).
