Overview
This part of ISO 96 specifies the principal dimensions of HZ- and J-rings, and the mass and tolerance on the mass, of the appropriate travelers for HZ- and J-rings employed on ring spinning and ring twisting machines. It also specifies the method of designation of the travellers. The International Standard has been prepared by ISO/TC 72, Subcommittee SC 1 "Spinning preparatory, spinning, twisting and winding machinery and accessories". The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 106-02-10 AA "Spulerei- und Spinnereimaschinen" ("Spinning and winding machinery") of the Textile and Textile Machinery Standards Committee (Textilnorm).
