The special requirements of this standard shall be applied to electric circuits intended for the supply of pleasure craft or houseboats at marinas and similar locations. This standard is a separate standard for "Marinas and similar locations". The committee responsible for this standard is DKE/UK 221.1 "Schutz gegen elektrischen Schlag" ("Protection against electrical shock") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
