Overview
This part of series of standards DIN VDE 0100 (VDE 0100) provides additional requirements for electrical installations in communal facilities and workplaces; such as in assembly halls, theatres, cinemas, sports arenas, schools. Access routes as well as escape and emergency routes are also included in the examples mentioned. In addition to the requirements specified in this part, the requirements for safety services in DIN VDE 0100-560 (VDE 0100-560) have been included. Furthermore, in respect to the previous standard DIN VDE 0100-718 (VDE 0100-718):2005-10, the formal structure/the numbering of the clauses have been adjusted to the currently valid Parts 100 to 600 of the series of standards DIN VDE 0100 (VDE 100) and references have been updated. The responsible body is DKE/UK 221.3 "Bauliche Anlagen für Menschenansammlungen" ("Structures for gatherings") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN VDE 0100-718:2005-10; VDE 0100-718:2005-10 .
