Self-locking nuts in this document with polyring and metric ISO thread according to LN 9163 are to be used for connections with screws with a nominal tensile strength less than 1 100 MPa. These nuts are not intended for use in structures. Range of application -55 °C to a maximum of 120 °C. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente" ("Aerospace fasteners") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
