The holder for spreader bars is intended for accommodation and locking of spreader bars on ship-to-shore gangways used on floating equipment of the Deutsche Marine (German Navy). It is intended for fixing spreader bars according to VG 85249-2 in the working position on the land side of the ship-to-shore gangway. It also serves as a lashing point for attaching the safety net. The designs and the materials to be used are specified in this standard in order to ensure interchangeability.
