Overview

This VG standard specifies reducers for potable-water and freshwater hose assemblies with external thread according to VG 85280 so type C couplings used on board of vessels can be connected, DN 65 to DN 60 to PN 16. The marking of the reducer is allocated to the corresponding supply number. Compared to the 1991 edition, the title has been changed, the figures have been revised, the clause on labelling and the English version have been added. This standard has been prepared by the DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-02-07 AA "Betankungs- und Pipelineschläuche" ("Tubes for refuelling and pipelines").
