Overview
Special features of the D-type fuse systems are compact size, protection against accidental contact and unmistakability with regard to the rated current. This standard is applicable in conjunction with VG 88823-2 for D-type fuse-holders. They are used in the fuse holders according to VG 88823-8 preferably for the protection of electrical equipment on underwater vessels. The content of the standard has been adapted to the latest technical status. The standard has been restructured as a detail standard and integrated into the VG 88823 series. The English translation has been added. DIN-NA 132-03-51 AA "Sicherungen" ("Fuses") is responsible.
