Overview

This standard is applicable to perforated cable tray profiles bent at right angles made from steel or aluminium for use in electrical installations for defense technology purposes, preferably on vessels for the German Navy. A new clause "Type test" with information on the declaration of the safe working load (SWL) has been incorporated into this new edition. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 132-03-54 AA "Installationssysteme, Kabelverlegung auf Schiffen" ("Installation systems, cable installation on ships") of the Shipbuilding and Marine Technology Standards Committee (NSMT) at DIN. It is a product standard for the field of defense technology.
