Overview
VG 95218-29 is a detail standard for longitudinally and transversely watertight cables of types B to N that are subject to type testing. Types B to F and N may be used indoors and outdoors. Types G to M may only be used outdoors. The detail standard specifies the special technical requirements and tests for the respective component. This standard is applicable in conjunction with generic specification VG 95218-2. Requirements and provisions that are identical for the components specified are contained in generic specification VG 95218-2. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 140-00-05 AA "Kabel und Leitungen" ("Cables and wires") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE).
