Overview

The presented standard is a detail standard for terminal strips. The committee responsible for the standard is committee NA 140-00-14-05 UA "Elektrische Anschlusselemente" ("Electrical connection elements") at the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. This standard applies in connection with VG 95231-2 for divisible terminal strips which are used for the connection of insulated wires. Terminal strips according to this standard can be used at a rated temperature up to 100 °C. Components according to this standard are subject to qualification approval; for this refer to VG 95211.
